Design and mechanism insight on SiC quantum dots sensitized inverse opal TiO with superior photocatalytic

摘要: The combination of SiC quantum dots sensitized inverse opal TiO2 photocatalyst is designed in this work and then applied in wastewater purification under simulated sunlight. From various spectroscopic techniques, it is found that electrons transfer directionally from SiC quantum dots to inverse opal TiO2, and the energy difference between their conduction/valence bands can reduce the recombination rate of photogenerated carriers and provide a pathway with low interfacial resistance for charge transfer inside the composite. As a result, a typical type-II mechanism is proved to dominate the photoinduced charge transfer process. Meanwhile, the composite achieves excellent photocatalytic performances (the highest apparent kinetic constant of 0.037 min–1), which is 6.2 times (0.006 min–1) and 2.1 times (0.018 min–1) of the bare inverse opal TiO2 and commercial P25 photocatalysts. Therefore, the stability and non-toxicity of SiC quantum dots sensitized inverse opal TiO2 composite enables it with great potential in practical photocatalytic applications.

摘要: Quantum-dot cellular automata (QCA) is an emerging area of research in reversible computing. It can be used to design nanoscale circuits. In nanocommunication, the detection and correction of errors in a received message is a major factor. Besides, device density and power dissipation are the key issues in the nanocommunication architecture. For the first time, QCA-based designs of the reversible low-power odd parity generator and odd parity checker using the Feynman gate have been achieved in this study. Using the proposed parity generator and parity checker circuit, a nanocommunication architecture is proposed. The detection of errors in the received message during transmission is also explored. The proposed QCA Feynman gate outshines the existing ones in terms of area, cell count, and delay. The quantum costs of the proposed conventional reversible circuits and their QCA layouts are calculated and compared, which establishes that the proposed QCA circuits have very low quantum cost compared to conventional designs. The energy dissipation by the layouts is estimated, which ensures the possibility of QCA nano-device serving as an alternative platform for the implementation of reversible circuits. The stability of the proposed circuits under thermal randomness is analyzed, showing the operational efficiency of the circuits. The simulation results of the proposed design are tested with theoretical values, showing the accuracy of the circuits. The proposed circuits can be used to design more complex low-power nanoscale lossless nanocommunication architecture such as nano-transmitters and nano-receivers.

摘要: 量子点元胞自动机(QCA)是一种用于实现纳米数字电路的新型纳米技术。这种纳米技术在速度、面积和功耗方面都优于互补金属氧化物半导体(CMOS)技术,并且可以显著改善各种逻辑电路设计。本文提出一种在QCA技术中实现T型锁存器的新方法,该方法利用了QCA在时序和时钟相位上的固有特征,因此,所提单元结构与现有方法相比占用面积更少,功耗更低。与之前的最佳设计相比,该T型锁存器的占用面积减少6.45%,功耗降低44.49%。此外,本文首次设计了基于复位的T型锁存器和具有置位和复位功能的T型锁存器。基于所提T型锁存器,开发了一种新型3位计数器,与之前的最佳设计相比减少2.14%的单元数。在3位计数器的基础上,设计了4位计数器,与之前的设计相比,减少0.51%的单元数和4.16%的截面积。此外还引入两个选择性计数器,分别从0到5和从2到5进行计数。在相干矢量引擎模式下,使用QCADesigner和QCAPro软件进行模拟,并将所提电路与相关设计在延迟、单元数、面积和漏电功率方面进行了比较。

摘要: 可逆逻辑由于其固有的降低能量耗散的能力最近受到极大关注。这种降低能量耗散的能力是低功耗数字电路的首要需求。可逆逻辑是相关研究的最新领域之一,在纳米技术、DNA计算、量子计算、容错和低功耗互补金属氧化物半导体(CMOS)等方面都有广泛应用。一个电路如果具有相同数量的输入和输出,并且是一一对应的,则被归类为可逆电路。如果输入和输出的异或门相等,则可逆电路是保守的。此外,量子点元胞自动机(QCA)是最先进的方法之一,可以替代传统技术。因此,本文提出一种低功耗、高速度的高效保守门。首先提出一个可逆门ANG (Ahmadpour Navimipour Gate),然后在QCA技术中实现非抗性ANG和可逆容错ANG两种结构。通过米勒算法实现所提可逆门,并通过2DW(二维设计)时钟电路图实现可逆容错ANG。此外,在不同的能量范围(0.5Ek,1.0Ek和1.5Ek)评估所提ANG门的功耗,并使用QCADesigner 2.0.03和QCAPro软件进行结构模拟和功耗分析。与之前的设计相比,所提可逆门具有很大提升。

摘要: 近年来,在纳米尺度上使用互补金属氧化物半导体(CMOS)技术设计逻辑电路面临着各种挑战。漏电流、短效应沟道和高能量耗散是一些亟待解决的问题。量子点元胞自动机(QCA)代表了未来可能替代CMOS的一种合适选择,因为与标准CMOS相比,它消耗的能量微不足道。设计算术电路关键是基于1位全加器的结构。低复杂度的全加器模块有利于开发各种复杂结构。本文介绍了基于单元交互的可扩展1位QCA全加器结构。我们提出的全加器包含QCA设计偏好,例如使用的单元数量少、延迟低和占用面积小。此外,所提结构已扩展到更大的电路,包括4位行波进位加法器(RCA)、4位行波借位减法器(RBS)、加/减电路和2位阵列乘法器。所有设计均使用 QCA Designer-E 2.2版软件进行仿真和验证。该工具可以估计能量消耗以及评估电路的性能。仿真结果表明,所提设计在复杂度、面积、延迟、成本和能量消耗方面都是有效的。

摘要: 基于密码学的量子点元胞自动机(QCA)是纳米技术领域新范例,在整体性能上优于传统互补金属氧化物半导体(CMOS)技术。为保障纳米通信的数据安全,提出一种基于量子元胞自动机的安全通信系统。利用设计的电路对输入数据加密,通过纳米路由器和数据路径选择器将其传到输出通道,然后将数据解密,恢复其原始形式。实验结果和理论推导证明了电路的准确性。此外,分析了电路功耗和复杂性。

摘要: 提出一种利用氧化锆量子点作为有源层的非易失性电阻式随机存取器。通过旋涂法制备Ag(上)/ZrO2(有源层)/Ti(下)典型的三明治结构存储器件。该优化器件具有较高高/低电阻差(约10 Ω),良好循环性能(循环数大于100),较低转化电流(约1 μA)。通过原子力显微镜和扫描电子显微镜观察ZrO2有源层表面形貌和堆积状态。实验结果表明,ZrO2有源层紧密堆积,且由于ZrO2量子点分布均匀,ZrO2有源层粗糙度较低(Ra=4.49 nm)。分析了Ag/ZrO2/Ti器件导电机理,并研究银离子导电丝和氧空位对电阻开关记忆行为的影响。该研究为忆阻器材料开发提供了一种简单方案。

Successful kidney transplantation in highly sensitized patients

摘要:

Highly sensitized patients experience an increased number of rejection episodes and have poorer graft survival rates; hence, sensitization is a significant barrier to both access to and the success of organ transplantation. This study reports our experience in kidney transplantation in highly sensitized patients. Fourteen patients with sensitization or high levels of panel-reactive antibodies (PRA) were studied. All patients were desensitized with pre-transplant intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG)/plasmapheresis (PP) with or without rituximab and thymoglobulin induction therapy, combined with a Prograf/MMF/Pred immunosuppressive regimen. Of 14 patients, 10 showed good graft functions without acute rejection (AR) episodes. Acute cellular rejection in two patients was reversed by methylprednisolone. Two patients underwent antibody-mediated rejection; one was treated with PP/IVIG successfully, whereas the other lost graft functions due to the de novoproduction of donor-specific antibodies (DSA). Graft functions were stable, and there were no AR episodes in other patients. Conclusively, desensitization using PP/IVIG with or without rituximab increases the likelihood of successful live-donor kidney transplantation in sensitized recipients.

快速、灵敏、即时检测致病菌对食品安全至关重要。在这项研究中,开发了一种新的量子点纳米珠标记的侧流免疫检测试纸条(QB-labelled LFIAS)结合链置换环介导的等温扩增(SD-LAMP)技术,用于定量检测鼠伤寒沙门氏菌(ST)。量子点纳米珠(QB)作为荧光报告材料,具有良好的检测效率。在LAMP中使用了可定制的链置换(SD)探针,以提高方法的特异性并防止副产物捕获。检测基于夹心免疫分析法。荧光条读取器测量测试(T)线和对照(C)线的荧光强度(FI)。条带的线性检测范围为每毫升102 ~ 108个菌落形成单位(CFU)。视觉检出限为103 CFU·mL−1,表明该系统的灵敏度是AuNP 标记试纸的10 倍。根据聚合酶链反应(PCR)和SD-LAMP的琼脂糖凝胶输出分析ST 特异性。在食品中检测到ST,回收率为85%~110%。该方法快速、简便,几乎不需要设备,适用于食品中的细菌检测和临床诊断。

Improving hole transfer of boron nitride quantum dots modified PDI for efficient photodegradation

摘要: In recent years, organic photocatalyst under visible-light absorption has shown significant potential for solving environmental problems. However, it is still a great challenge for constructing a highly active organic photocatalyst due to the low separation efficiency of photogenerated carriers. Herein, an effective and robust photocatalyst perylene-3,4,9,10-tetracarboxylic diamide/boron nitride quantum dots (PDI/BNQDs), consisting of self-assemble PDI with π–π stacking structure and BNQDs, has been constructed and researched under visible light irradiation. The PDI/BNQDs composite gradually increases organic pollutant photodegradation with the loading amount of BNQDs. With 10 mL of BNQDs solution added (PDI/BNQDs-10), the organic pollutant photodegradation performance reaches a maximum, about 6.16 times higher with methylene blue and 1.68 times higher with ciprofloxacin than that of pure PDI supramolecular. The enhancement is attributed to improved separation of photogenerated carriers from self-assembled PDI by BNQDs due to their preeminent ability to extract holes. This work is significant for the supplement of PDI supramolecular composite materials. We believe that this photocatalytic design is capable of expanding organic semiconductors’ potential for their applications in photocatalysis.

A mini-review of ferrites-based photocatalyst on application of hydrogen production

摘要: Photocatalytic water splitting for hydrogen production is a promising strategy to produce renewable energy and decrease production cost. Spinel-ferrites are potential photocatalysts in photocatalytic reaction system due to their room temperature magnetization, the high thermal and chemical stability, narrow bandgap with broader visible light absorption, and proper conduction band energy level with strong oxidation activity for water or organic compounds. However, the fast recombination of the photoexcited electrons and holes is a critical drawback of ferrites. Therefore, the features of crystallinity, particle size, specific surface area, morphology, and band energy structure have been summarized and investigated to solve this issue. Moreover, composites construction with ferrites and the popular support of TiO2 or g-C3N4 are also summarized to illustrate the advanced improvement in photocatalytic hydrogen production. It has been shown that ferrites could induce the formation of metal ions impurity energy levels in TiO2, and the strong oxidation activity of ferrites could accelerate the oxidation reaction kinetics in both TiO2/ferrites and g-C3N4/ferrites systems. Furthermore, two representative reports of CaFe2O4/MgFe2O4 composite and ZnFe2O4/CdS composite are used to show the efficient heterojunction in a ferrite/ferrite composite and the ability of resistance to photo-corrosion, respectively.

Efficient flower-like ZnSe/CuZnS photocatalyst for hydrogen production application

摘要: Photocatalytic hydrogen production utilizing abundant solar energy to produce high-calorie, clean, and pollution-free hydrogen is an important approach to solving environmental and resource problems. In this work, a high-efficiency flower-like ZnSe/Cu0.08Zn0.92S photocatalyst was constructed through element doping and the formation of a Z-scheme heterojunction. The synergistic effect of Cu doping and the built-in electric field in the heterojunction enhanced light absorption and utilization by the ZnSe/Cu0.08Zn0.92S microflowers, accelerated the separation and transfer of photogenerated electrons and effectively inhibited electron–hole recombination. Thus the photocatalytic hydrogen production ability of the ZnSe/Cu0.08Zn0.92S microflowers was increased significantly. The highly stable ZnSe/Cu0.08Zn0.92S microflowers could provide excellent catalysis of photocatalytic hydrogen production.
